Description: This is a dual act by Dr Galgut and Dr Van Rensburg, describes treatment solutions for patients with severely periodontally damaged dentitions. Dr Peter Galgut is a well known periodontal specialist, a lecturer on periodontics and on top of that he was crowned dentist of the year in 2010. Dr Van Rensburg is well known for his experience in fibre reinforced composites and would like to share his “fibre makeover cases” combined with the clinical and theoretical information taught by Dr Galgut. Together they will captivate the attention of the delegates with innovative treatment options for periodontally compromised patients, in whom most authorities consider it impossible to save “hopeless” periodontally involved dentitions.
